A consulting relationship prospers
when both parties are working within mutual comfort zones. If you're here because you’re
looking for an architect to help with a planning project, one
of the first things to consider is the difference between a larger
firm and a sole practitioner. I've been both during my
tenure. As a sole practitioner specializing in custom residential
work, one thing I can offer is a much higher degree of personal
attention to both your project with its design particulars, and
to you as homeowner. It favors a higher degree of personal
access, which is particularly pertinent to the residential design
situation. When you look to choose among Architects this
is a key question to ask yourself: what kind of
process do you envision and what type of practice will best suit
your needs and serve your purposes ?
No one can be all things to all people. But
if you take your project very personally and care about the design
element, if you feel the importance of a thoughtful collaborative
process, I can offer you a quarter century of experience in this
design specialty, and the personal assurance that I will to take
your objectives and interests to heart. |
